You know how you're always hearing about how blue eyeshadow is evil? Some even insist that it should be against the law!
We've all seen women who smother their upper lids with shadow, not making any attempt whatsoever to blend it or smoke it or look like anything other than a cartoon. And yes, these women seem to have a penchant for blue shades of eyeshadow, although it's equally criminal in any shade.
You can still do a single shade (even blue!), but go for a sheer, broad wash of color instead of that concentrated half-circle of color clowning up your eyelid.
Stroke the sides of a soft, full brush across your eyeshadow. Always run the sides of a brush across your pressed product. Never tamp the bristles straight down upon your blush or eyeshadow – doing so damages both the brush and your makeup.
Sweep across the entire lid all the way up to your brow.
Easy, right?
